Where did the time go?

Bianca Hall, musician & educator
So much for making another post before my written exams and 3rd recital! Well, I figured I should check in briefly.
After my last post, I went into full study mode, to finish and submit my Theory and Analysis capstone paper and take and pass my College Teaching written exam. Thankfully, I got those assessments completed and had a very successful performance of my 3rd recital.
The venue for my recital was Church of the Angels in Pasadena, CA, a beautiful space that was the perfect setting for my program, "Adoramus te, Christe: the Grace of Christ through the music of Monteverdi and Schuetz." I really had such a wonderful time creating and rehearsing for this concert with my fellow musician-friends, and the performance was very well-received.
This past weekend, I sang and played a little recorder for the Pacific Bach Project's performances of "A Mighty Fortress: Masterpieces about the triumph of good over darkness." It was great to see such a good turn out at both venues (Irvine & Rancho Santa Fe).
Now, I'm back to preparing for my oral exam, which is a week from this Thursday, which is...yup, Halloween! I'm looking forward to both events that day, and I should really get back to studying. Talk to you again on the other side...
